Terms and Conditions

Effective date: 10 June 2026  ·  Last updated: 10 June 2026

Please read these Terms carefully before creating an account or purchasing any deal voucher on GroceryDeals. By registering or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

GroceryDeals payments are processed by Stripe and secured with TLS encryption. We never store your full card details.

1. About the Platform

GroceryDeals is an online marketplace that connects shoppers with local grocery retailers offering exclusive deals. You purchase deal vouchers online, receive a unique QR code, and redeem that QR code in-store at the participating retailer.

GroceryDeals acts as a technology intermediary only. We are not the seller of goods; each retailer is solely responsible for fulfilling the deal advertised.

2. Eligibility

To use the Platform as a shopper you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age. • Be a resident of Australia. • Provide accurate and complete registration information. • Hold a valid email address that you own and regularly access.

3. Account Registration

You must register an account to purchase vouchers. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Notify us immediately at support@grocerydeals.com.au if you suspect unauthorised access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false, outdated, or misleading information.

4. Purchasing Deal Vouchers

Each deal displays the original price, the discounted deal price, available quantity, and an expiry date. Payments are processed securely by Stripe — GroceryDeals never stores your full card details.

On successful payment you will receive an email QR-code voucher, also accessible under My Vouchers. Each voucher is single-use and expires on the date shown on the listing. Expired vouchers cannot be redeemed or refunded.

5. In-Store Redemption

Present your QR code to the retailer at the time of purchase. Once marked REDEEMED a voucher cannot be used again under any circumstances.

It is your responsibility to present the voucher before the retailer completes the transaction. If a retailer refuses to honour a valid, unexpired voucher, contact us within 48 hours at support@grocerydeals.com.au with your order number.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

Unredeemed vouchers: You may request a full cash refund at any time before the voucher expires by contacting support@grocerydeals.com.au, provided the voucher has not been redeemed. Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Redeemed vouchers: No refund is available once a voucher has been scanned and marked REDEEMED.

Expired vouchers: No refund is available for vouchers not redeemed before the expiry date.

Retailer closure or deal withdrawal: GroceryDeals will issue a full refund automatically.

For the full refund policy including all scenarios, see our Refund Policy at grocerydeals.com.au/refund-policy.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

• Use automated tools or bots to purchase vouchers at scale. • Sell, transfer, or broker vouchers to third parties without our written consent. • Attempt to redeem a voucher you did not purchase. • Abuse the refund policy through repeated purchase-and-refund cycles. • Attempt to circumvent security measures or gain unauthorised access to the Platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law ("ACL"), GroceryDeals excludes all implied warranties and conditions. Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant voucher.

GroceryDeals is not liable for any failure of a retailer to honour a voucher, or for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss of any kind. Nothing in these Terms excludes any guarantee under the ACL that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Disputes and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any unresolved disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

If you have a dispute, contact us at support@grocerydeals.com.au — we will act as a good-faith mediator between you and the retailer where possible.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you by email or via a prominent notice on the Platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
